Dear Prospective Member:
We are excited about this year's Dallas Southern Pride. This year's theme is "Safe Sex In The City". Dallas Southern Pride's mission is to build awareness of pride in the Same Gender Loving (SGL)/ Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender (GLBT) community of color. Also, to create a funding source and support for organizations which are addressing health, educational, and economic issues adversely affecting our community. We can't do it alone. We are counting on the strong support of great people and organizations to help make it happen. This four-day event of over 10,000 participants will include great parties, fellowship, powerful workshops, and seminars that touch on social and political aspects of GLBT experiences. That being said, we would like to introduce our elected officers, to give you an overview of what we've accomplished and to invite you to join our organization or renew your membership.
