AuntJuan Wiley - Syphilis Elimination Project Coordinator, La Sima Foundation

Auntjuan M. Wiley, a graduate from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelors Degree in Social Work and native of Dallas, Texas has been a part of the fight against HIV/AIDS and other STD's for over 13 years and since that time he has made it his responsibility and mission to be that voice for those infected and affected. He has done that in many different arenas locally, nationally and internationally through education, prevention, advocacy and training. In communities, here and abroad he is best known; not only for his uniqueness, but for his passion and commitment to making a difference in the lives of others. He is currently the Syphilis Elimination Project Coordinator for the La Sima Foundation in Dallas as well a member of the Consumer Council Committee of the Ryan White Planning Council of North Texas. He is also the founder and facilitator of a support group for HIV+ African-American MSM's in Dallas, a National Trainer for AIDS Alliance for Children, Youth and Families, a consultant for the National Minority AIDS Council, both in Washington, DC and involved in so much more here and across the country. His philosophy is the work is not over "UNTIL THERE'S A CURE".
